Day 17 - 20 days of me series
This is a series of posts that give you a better idea of who I am. I found the idea from Living off Love and Coffee's blog post but instead of 30 days, I'm only committing to 20. I Googled to see if there were another origins for this idea and found many '30 days of me' posts but this one I liked the most so here we go!
Day 17 - Nicknames you have and why you have them
What's the difference between nicknames and pet names, really?

My nicknames are Meg or Meggie or Meggie Jane, which all derive from my name.
My pet names are way more interesting because I have pet names in English and German :)
In both languages I have the pet name, Squirrel or Eichhörnchen. The reason behind this name is explained in Day 2 of my 20 days of me series.
Other pet names come from mostly my parents.
Penelope peanut and pumpernickel peanut were among a few that I can think of. I have no idea why my mother called me these names, maybe she was always craving peanuts?
