During her time at Purdue she participated in the Engineering Co-Op program where she alternated semesters at school with semesters working for GE Plastics. She also participated in EPICS, Engineering Projects in Community Service. Both opportunities allowed Megan to gain real-world experience before graduating from school.

During Megan’s time at Bayer Health Care she had the opportunity to train as a facilitator. This was her first experience learning how to use social skills to make a process easier for others.
Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
In 2017, Megan enrolled in the Health Coach Training Program from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). The year-long course (2018) covered many topics ranging from nutrition, mental well-being, and relationships. Megan successfully completed the Health Coach Training Program and gained the credentials, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

The year studying at IIN changed Megan’s life. She has a new appreciation for maintaining strong relationships, focusing on self-care, and a better understanding of how food is the basis for good health.
